What is Sharks Camp?

When the school term ends and volleyball season concludes, the frustration of being stuck at home without an outlet for your passion is compounded by working parents and friends on holiday adventures. The solution to this predicament is Sharks Camp, held three times a year and renowned as Australia's largest volleyball holiday clinic. What makes it special is the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your enthusiasm, providing not only a fun environment for volleyball but also a chance to forge new friendships. This camp offers peace of mind to parents, ensuring their children are engaged in an enriching activity.

Sharks Camp goes beyond social aspects, providing a fantastic opportunity to enhance volleyball skills and learn from field experts. Participants leave with more than just improved skills; they also receive a limited edition camp water bottle and a stylish T-shirt as memorable souvenirs. Who Can Attend Sharks Camp?

Athletes who are keen for development in Grades 4 - 12 can go to Sharks Camp.

where is Sharks Camp?

Brisbane Sharks Camp are located at the Mansfield State High School Sports Centre and Eagles Sports Complex.

Grade 8 and above: Cnr of Broadwater Road &, Ham Road, Mansfield QLD 4122 (Next to Masfield State School)

Grade7 and younger: 109 Weedon Street West, Mansfield QLD 4122

Gold Coast Sharks Camp is located at Southport State High School

All age groups: 21 Brooke Ave, Southport, 4215.

Please note that athletes train at the venue that they have been assigned based on their training group.


when is Sharks Camp?

Sharks Camp runs 3 times each year. One in the April school holidays, one in the June/July school holidays, and one in the September school holidays. (For exact times see timetable).


how much does sharks camp cost?

The camps are $299 (Inc. GST) to attend, including 4 full days of coached volleyball, a camp tee shirt and a camp water bottle. Making them the most affordable 4 day camp in Australia.

Sharks Camp Timetable

The camp is structured in a way to distribute players more evenly across playing courts, thus allowing for a fairer and more enjoyable camp for all.

Athletes will be assigned a training group (either Great White or Hammerhead) and training venue 3 days prior to the commencement of camp and will be expected to attend all of that training group’s sessions for the duration of the camp.

If an athlete is assigned to a session that they cannot attend based on logisitcs - we are happy to consider moving them to the alternate session if request is made more than 24 hours before the camp via email to sharkscamp@sharksvolleyball.com
